The concept of teamLab Planets TOKYO is “Body Immersive”, which blurs the boundaries between the body and the work by completely immersing the body. In this way, we can transform ourselves, others and the world into a continuous relationship, and then explore a new relationship without boundaries between us and the world. There were already many people queuing up outside the teamLab door, waiting for the next admission time. You can buy tickets online in advance, or you can buy tickets on site.

TeamLab Planets TOKYO in Toyosu divides into three areas: “Water Area”, “Garden Area”, and “Public Area”. First, we pass through the “Waterfall of Light” and “Soft Black Hole” in the Water Area exhibition area. The most iconic one must be this one. In a room full of mirrors, you will see a watery universe composed of countless light points, which will change into different colors according to the rhythm. The light spots and the reflection of the mirror create an endless space, which is top-notch!
Water Area

With the canopy of petals filling the sky and the mirrored space, stepping into this dark space is like entering a surreal flower room! The sky is decorated with flowers of all sizes, which bloom and fall as time goes by, allowing people to feel the changes in life. When entering this area, you can try lying on the mirror floor for a more realistic immersion and appreciate the changes of the flowers every moment. If you want to check in more pictures, we recommend that you select the effects through the teamLab App. In addition, when filming, you can shoot at a semi-low angle to achieve a more harmonious effect.

One of the “Main Drawing on the Water Surface” integrated into the water is this interactive artwork presented in real time by a computer program. The koi in the pool will keep swimming around the feet, leaving colorful trails. When they touch people, they will turn into flowers and slowly spread out.

When entering this exhibition area, you can move the sphere around you. It will change in 12 different colors. The feeling of the entire space will be completely different. The check-in effect is extremely changeable, reflecting free changes. Since the venue is quite spacious, you don’t have to worry about not being able to take photos due to the large number of people. Every corner is very photogenic!

Garden Area
The Garden Area divides into two major exhibition areas. There are 14,000 real orchids in the dreamy “floating garden”, which creates a moving visual effect with the mirrored floor. The orchids will rise when people get close to them, making them feel like they are in a world of flowers. Once they enter, they will feel so good! Just remember not to touch them.

In addition to the indoor garden, the Garden Area also has an outdoor exhibition area, which presents different appearances day and night, which is very impressive! During the day, the silver egg-shaped object will be hidden in the mist. When it gets dark around 5 p.m., the egg-shaped artwork will emit 61 different kinds of light, which is quite magical.
